Project Description

This site needs to be prioritized over the changes to Songbird

Site needs to be up and running and tested by mid May
Needs to have CRM integration as per below
The business sells customizable boxes of flowers that are delivered to people’s doors. The boxes need to be ordered and then go into a CRM that processes them into an order form for the following day delivery
If ordered by 1pm the box will be delivered the following day
Needs to be automated with no human input. Orders must go directly from website and be put into a list with customer info, any notes and the order and sent off as an email to another company email (Blue Grass) which will fulfill the order by packaging it and delivering it
Boxes need to be able to select a few standard packages or customers are able to pick out their own plants (customizable). The easiest way to do this would be just to have a catalogue of plants that they can add to the box and in the end it is an item in their cart. In fact the cart itself can be the “box”.. So really I think we could get away with a shopify type order processing system.
For examples see www.calgaryplants.com , www.plantsdirect.ca
Neils especially likes the pictures to select each plant and the inclusion of SHOP BY CATEGORY
Plantsdirect.ca is a more polished looking site
He had originally suggested that it would be similar to how you would select on amazon but I think because of the pictures this maybe slightly different and just a more standard shopping experience.
Purchasing experience should be optimized for mobile
Would like to capture and retain customer information – but not retain credit card information
May also need to get you a terms and conditions which we will work on
For the boxes over $200 orders will have no delivery costs. Under $200 there is a $40 cost
We will also have to figure out how to restrict ordering outside the service area
